Anything related to this version of Kizuna Encounter is known to fetch thousands of dollars at auctions. The only way we could consolidate to a single source for these names is by acquiring a scan of the PAL version's manual, but no scans exist of it (as far as we know).

#GAMEFAQS DENGEKI BUNKO FIGHTING CLIMAX SOFTWARE#
The NTSC and PAL versions are identical in software but the packaging is different, and the PAL version's manual is the only complete translation of the game's manual from mechanics to move lists. Kizuna Encounter's original English localization is extremely rare. S+: Kim > King Lion, Rosa S: Gozu, Mezu A+: Hayate A: Joker, Gordon > Eagle > Chungīoss: Jyazu > King Leo S+: Joker, Kim > King Lion, Rosa S: Gozu, Mezu A+: Hayate A: Gordon > Eagle > Chung Why do some special moves have different names? Generally speaking, however, the game is very explosive and heavily dependent on momentum, so you can't always count out the "worse" characters. We're pretty confident with the character placements here, but these things are all subject to change as more discoveries are made. This is the current tier list based on estimations made by the English-speaking Kizuna Encounter community. What does the tier list for this game look like?

You're totally free to do whatever you want in your own time, though. This also means that Hayate's infinite on Lion/Leo and Gordon is also banned, but this doesn't affect him nearly as much. Infinites are currently banned as well, because while the vast majority of infinites in this game are highly impractical, Joker's basically universal infinite is extremely easy and allows him to immediately end the match by landing one of the most obnoxious neutral tools in the game. While they do have unique weaknesses stemming from their lack of access to the game's team mechanics, those weaknesses do not make up for their egregious strengths, being designed primarily as overpowered CPU-controlled opponents.

Jyazu and King Leo are banned because they are very much boss characters.

#GAMEFAQS DENGEKI BUNKO FIGHTING CLIMAX UPGRADE#
The arcade version was also recently updated with more characters and it wouldn't surprise me if an upgrade is released later on. Sega's Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is an excellent 2D fighting game, although it is coming out in English later this year. If you want more Koei musou games, Sengoku Musou 3Z and Musou Orochi Z (has HD ports of Warriors Orochi 1 and 2) never got English releases. IIRC it's supposed to be closer to the arcade version than the PSN ports, too. The Japanese version was ported by some of the same people who worked on the arcade versions and there's some extra features only in this port. Since you're planning on getting Vampire Resurrection, just wanted to note that you can also get the Dungeons And Dragons Collection as well. (4 Sumeragi has all of the content from 4.) The latter is also on PS4, so if you have one or are planning to get one, I'd wait. You can get the entire set of main games on PS3, with the HD Collection containing 1, 2, and 2 Heroes, then there's 3, 3 Utage, 4, and last month's 4 Sumeragi. Capcom's Sengoku Basara games are well-worth purchasing. Has cross-play with the Vita version, too! (Not sure about PS4)
